Saturday. After a decent Space Skilling Saturday during which I had seen no big loots from Kongs I decided try my luck, There was a decent hit while I was sorting storage but I continued anyway, I was there a little over an hour and used a 50% Skill pill, did quite well. After I had sorted my storage I returned to sell a plantation of bananas to Ravenjade and was tempted to try my luck again with my Archon’s sword, this resulted in a small loss.

Return for the week was 273 PED with a return of 129%, I must learn to pick my fights.

Log entry for the 4th of September 2016

Saturday. After Space Skilling Saturday I again assisted with the control of the Kong menace. Things went a little better this week but it was still bad, my mistake, I had been keeping track of the HoFs from Kongs while in space and they had seemed reasonable and quite frequent, I was optimistic of hitting a big one. However I failed to notice (and really should have checked the HoF board) that a big loot occurred about 15 minutes before the end of SSS, I hope I will know better next time. A loss of 331 PED and a return of 42%.

Loss for the week was 430 PED, a return of 50%. I need to be more cautious.

Saturday After Space Skilling Saturday. I returned via teleporter to Rocktropia where I stashed the loot from SSS before joining the crowd taking on the Kongs. With Skill pill and Loot pill I joined in and managed to lose 443 PED, a return of just 38%, I should know better. I do enjoy this event but need to be more thoughtful of when to fight and when not to fight.

Total return for the week was 52%, being a loss of 476 PED, opps!

One item possibly worthy of note. Today is the 3rd anniversary of the commencement of this blog.

A hunch pays off.

Saturday. After Space Skilling Saturday, which had gone swimmingly well. I decided to visit Rocktropia and have a crack at the Kongs. I had seen a couple of UFOs drop during Space Skilling but no big HoF and I had an odd feeling about the event.

I joined about 2120 MA and using a 50% skill pill and a loot pill I had accidentally necked mistaking it for the skill pill. I did quite well, there were several globals with decent loots and I thought I was somewhere close to breaking even then this happened:-

2016-08-20 22:01:49 [Globals] [] Team “(Shared Loot)” killed a creature (Zombie Kong) with a value of 18859 PED! A record has been added to the Hall of Fame.

My share was 2109 PED, need to follow my feelings more often I think. I continued and got a few more decent loots, all the time it was becoming harder as more people dropped out. The penultimate mob was a Werewolf God which took about 10 of us ages to kill and did not give us much for our trouble. I was there over an hour, fully using the skill pill but not all of the 500 PED Universal Ammo I had allocated for the event.

Gain for the week was a total of 3664 PED, estimated return 886%, only estimated due to me using Weapon Cells during SSS and gaining a lot of them in loot.
