Karma Killer tier 4

Log Entry for March the 16th 2014

Highlight of my week is the Karma Killer reaching tier 3.9, I checked both auction and shops for the necessary upgrade items but Arkadia was bare! Fortunately a couple of days later, Wolta found us a client who wanted a return trip to Calypso and whilst there I procured the necessary items and performed the upgrade. I also stocked up on enhancers.

Talking of tier upgrades, I noticed the Viceroy shin-guards had reached tier 1.9 so I upgraded those, I have all the supplies to upgrade the rest of the suit in storage on Arkadia, possibly not the best place to leave it.

I have a new disciple, one Vinge Neitsi Aare. We started chatting after a transport and she asked a lot of questions that I answered after a while I asked if she wished to formalise the relationship and explained the advantages. The upshot is I’m mentoring again after several disappointments with scroungers. Looking forward to this, I do enjoy mentoring.

I completed the Kamaldon 75 kills IFN challenge and took the reward, I did this over two days, the first went quite well, the second was rather bad.

Harping back to last week’s entry, I went ahead with the purchase of Lakeside #1, still not convinced it was a good idea, I cashed in my CLD returns to achieve this. I had worked out when the auction would end and intended to be on line as I happened to have the day off. I completely forgot about it and logged on by chance with just 2 minutes left. Took it as an omen and did the deed.

I had a crack at some korwil, these were a little too tough for the Viceroy armour, I could kill them but it took a lot of healing in between firing a few rounds so expensive for me.

2 people removed me from their friend list this week. I used to make a point of chatting with everyone on my FL on a regular basis but I have let this slide. I shall try to make more of an effort.

9 level gains this week in various categories, nothing spectacular or meaningful but it’s always nice to see these go up, chasing down that average of level 30 in combat skills.

On Monday the 10th Chuck Norris was 74, Wolta and I celebrated with a “Happy 74th Birthday Chuck Norris” team name and scored a couple of globals, if Chuck Norris was on the team every kill would have been an ATH!

One up and many downs

Log Entry for October the 15th 2013

My stay on Calypso was brief, I had a couple of Rextelum hunts, neither of which went well and On Friday evening meet Lizzy who handed over the Weapon Skill Enhancer Blueprints she had kindly purchased for me from auction. I collected from storage what components I had to make  Weapon Skill Enhancers and purchased a little extra on auction before Lizzy and I headed to Pathfinder XXXI docked at Calypso Space Station. Lizzy was carrying and so logged out and I took us to Crystal Palace for a quick Aurli hunt.

This hunt was the Up of the title and got me a nice HoF of 1688PED which put me at number 4 on the table, it was all oils with no item. After I went shopping and found a bargain, this meant I needed to return to Calypso to auction it! Then it was back into the big black and off to Arkadia.

I arrived the next day and have remained there since, Lizzy joined me on the surface to hand over what she was carrying before we went our separate ways. I have tried 6 hunts since and lost quite badly on each one, this visit Arkadia is not being kind to me, I have got myself half way through the Oratan 20K challenge which Wolta tells me she completed today and have almost done the Huon 400. I have also hunted Otorugi and at the weekend with Wolta, Beladoth, Teladon and Oratan.

I have made some Weapon Skill Enhancers as I ran out of level 1. I have also tier upgraded 3 more parts of the Viceroy, only the gloves, feet and shins are below tier 1 now.

I have seen a few skill increase periods, these have not significantly increased the amount of skill I am getting but every little helps and i do try to take advantage of them when they happen.

I’m hoping things will pick up soon.
