2 day week 2.

Log entry for 27th of September 2015

It was a different 2 days so there is some variation.

Thursday, I revisit the Shubs, I hope they will be generous. I take on mostly Xanthippe but also Tempest the Eradicator and the somewhat worryingly named Castrantias the void. They are not generous and the return of 74% does not bring me joy in spite of the 2 small globals. I do get to 205/500 for the shub mission and the level percentage for Laser Pistoleer (hit) goes up to 94.76% so it’s not all bad.

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday occurs.

For the week I have lost 268 PED which gives a return of 68%.

2 day week.

Log entry for 20th of September 2015

Saturday, I started my week on Saturday and I’m not writing about it until Thursday, I do not seem to have much time of late.

I paid a visit to the Shubs, virago and termagant. I managed a couple of globals and also got to the 90% mark on my way to the next level in Laser Pistoleer (hit). Later it was Space Skilling Saturday and later still a return to the Shubs.

Sunday, K’Tan Partathus Arch Follower of Cthulhu, I did particularly badly against these but did manage another global.

That’s the week, I managed to lose 450 PED, a lot considering the lack of activity, the return was 77%.

Shub Niggurath

Log entry for 7th of June 2015

Monday, I decided to try the shubs, there is a mission I have not started which involves finding something in each cave. I could not find these whatever they weres and after checking Monria forum it seems they are some of the shubs in the final cave. I was using the Modec VXT 900 (L) Wolta and myself looted last week with an A105 on it and found this to be quite successful especially after it reached tier 1 and I could get a little extra damage out of it.

I fought my way along the tunnel and into the cave where I headed onwards but to the right slightly. I did encounter one tough shub on the way, I forget the type, but beat it with considerable healing. I made my way into the rear of the cave which was empty. Skirting the cave wall in an clockwise direction I found another TP, useful for a return journey. There were several hard hitting shubs encountered as I continued to skirt the cave wall and I picked these off one by one until I encountered Shub Niggurath, a lvl 50 creature. I decided to chance my arm and picked it off, backing away I continued firing, it was not long before she was upon me and I was struggling, I had to swap continuously between weapon and FAP, fortunately no single hit was hard enough to slay me though some came close and in time I found I was slowly eating away at her hit points, encouraged by this I continued until I finally finished her off and looted, well not very much as it happens. Nonetheless I had solo’d a lvl 50 mob, I’m fairly sure this is the first time I have achieved this, clearly a bigger gun makes all the difference. 2 globals were scored during this foray and I managed a profit of over 100 PED, not counting the weapon decay although even with that it was still in the black.

I rested upon my laurels until:-

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday was early, the return from this was not too bad either.

That was my week, I emerged in the black to the tune of 82PED and a return of 113%, laurel resting pays off.

Activity! Surely not!

Log entry for 31st of May 2015

Monday, I began the day completing a hunt I had stated the previous day, mostly I was slaying Werewolves, this went rather well with only a small loss. I made the mistake of joining in the pre-Kong Zombie waves (these are not like Mexican waves in any way, shape or form, there are no sombreros for starters), on waving goodbye to the last Zombie wave I set to with several others against the post-Zombie wave Kong. This did not go well at all with a return of a little over 50%.

Tuesday, I went to the Kong site to see what was going on, I was feeling quite tired and was unsure as to my evening’s activities, nothing was going on however I materialised next to Cissi TigeRPaw-C Red-cat, we have been saying hello to each other for a while now and as neither of us had much to do ended up having a rather interesting conversation and ended up on each other’s FL. TigeRPaw showed me where there was a Big Cat mission to be had, I took the mission and then we set about looking for big cats. TigeRPaw stayed near Daki Ridge whilst I headed South finding some smaller ones near Studio Street (I think, best check that when I next log in). After a while we both ended up at a Kong, the combined results were significantly better than last night’s Kong.

Wednesday, I completed the first Big Cat mission Catscepades #1 and then took on a few Zombies (you gotta kill a Zombie or two boys, you gotta kill a Zombie or two). Later it was more Zombies and a Kong, neither of these had good results. After the Kong TigeRPaw and I talked for a while.

Thursday, 4 days in a row, something is wrong. I returned to the Werewolves, I had accidentally left the A105 on the Karma Killer and failed to notice until I got a warning that the amp was close to expiring, no matter the result was rather good with only a small loss of PED.

Saturday, I had to take a day off after 4 days, that’s almost a working week. I did not do much today however just Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, after Space Skilling Saturday we had gone to Monria, I think this was just because it was closest but am not sure. Wolta and I went looking for some Arbitrator the Vermin but failed to find any. Instead we went through the Cultists cave and then on to kill of some Shubs. Not a bad return on this team hunt, 3 globals and 5 items, which are to be split evenly after selling. For me the most interesting loot was a Modec VXT 900 which I wanted to keep, with Wolta’s agreement I paid her half its value plus the weekly/monthly MU. A good fun hunt.

Weekly return was 77% with a loss of about 465 PED, maybe I need to play a little less.
