March 2018 (The noob hunting lifestyle).

Log entry for March 2018

Still intending to do less even though the cost (with the exception of SSS and the Colonists jumpsuit) is so small as to be ridiculous. I continue looking for a Disciple.

1st – Carabok, level 2, 500 killed, even sweated 5 of them after, I still don’t see the attraction. Oratan Payback Mission day 5 of 7. Herman CAP-TT R used.

2nd – Oratan Payback mission 6 of 7, nice return from that I’m not sure if they have to be done on consecutive days, no doubt I will find out in time. Jori, a slight loss but did not wipe out Oratan profit. Herman CAP-TT R.

Wolta very kindly gave me a Generic Fuse she had looted, she does that a lot so that I can make warp drives for the ship, next time we get to Calypso I should make a few.

3rd – After a very good Space Skilling Saturday I completed what I now know to be the first IFN Oratan Payback mission by doing day 7 of 7. These have proved to be very good and I would recommend them to any new inhabitant of the Entropia Universe, the payback in Universal Ammo makes it difficult to lose when doing this mission. After this I completed day 1/7 of the IFN Oratan mission II, this provides payback for killing Thugs in the form of skills, from what I can make out these do not have to be done over consecutive days. During this mission I had to wait to heal a few times as I was taking too much damage to just plough through it, I was using the Herman CAP-TT R, for the next session I will try the Herman CAP-R, which is the original TT version of this pistol, it does slightly more damage so should reduce the amount I take. During one of the periods in which I was healing I visited Nocturaline’s shop, she was busy adding more paintings having recently sold several and the images were taking their time appearing. During another healing period TigeRPaw showed up to kill some Bandits, she ran in with what must have been about 20 Oratan Prospectors of one rank or another chasing her, it looked like something out of the Benny Hill show. The Thugs are easy to find 100 of, it seems the Bandits are not, looks like mission III will be tougher.

4th – I purchase a TT Finder and Extractor along with some probes and have a crack at mining which results in a very small loss, the Arkadia TT finder is an (L) item it expired after using 4.1 PED of probes. I did not get another to continue the experiment, perhaps another day.

I placed a couple of auctions, both of which sold this day and TT’d misc stackables.

I went to the Oratan Prospector Wave area to see how this works, I was joined by one Jaco Nihilist Patrolman for about 10 waves and a couple of others joined in at various times, all were shooting the Punys, I got up to level 52 before being killed and not getting back in time to continue, in later waves one of various Oratans of higher levels shows up along with the Punys, the last two waves had Oratan Miner Young in this role. I had been killed earlier but used H-DNA, on wave 52 it involved a TP jump and I was too slow. I used the Herman CAP-TT R (L) for the Punys and some of the earlier higher Oratans but ended up using the Omegaton Igni L1100E for a couple and the Archon’s Sword for the rest when I realised how much ammo I was burning in the Igni, no armour but there was healing, just not quite enough in the last wave, I had forgotten to heal between waves and the first thing I hit was the Miner, lucky me!

Later its the Oratan Payback Mission II day 2/7 using the Herman Cap-R instead of a Herman Cap-TT R was quicker (about 1 hour and 10 minutes) and I needed to heal just twice, however it cost very close too a PED more to kill the same number of Oratan Thugs.

5th – 9th – Each day I just complete that day’s Oratan Payback Mission II, I experiment with different combinations of weapons, the cheapest seems to be using a Herman CAP-TT R (L) with a ZX Sinkadus fitted. A lose on all days except the 8th when I was using a Herman CAP-R with A ZX Sinkadus I am up 1.75 PED. On the 9th I complete the Oratan Payback Mission II and become a Corporal in the IFN, I also begin day 1/14 of the Oratan Payback Mission III, 100 Bandits a day!

10th – TigeRPaw gives me a couple of Way Points that enable me to complete day 1/14 of the Oratan Payback Mission III, left from yesterday. I complete Colonist Jumpsuit mission stage VI. I prepare to depart Arkadia, I leave my IFN uniform in the Sand Runner and store the same.

Space Skilling Saturday 216 occurs at Next Island.

After, we go to Toulan where Nocturaline and I face the Thawr Divine and overcome it with out being killed once in spite of me forgetting to attach the plates to my Ursa, numbnutz! Fortunately Nocturaline has very good healing skills and equipment. Not much loot from this, a return of just 37%. A new one spawned as soon as I killed it. I offered to split the loot with Nocturaline but this was declined.

Spent some time trying to find a location on Toulan where in the past I have done quite well, I did find it but managed another loss defending myself while I did.

11th -13th – Toulan, I wandered around an did some of the missions, including the 200 Tabtab in a day, on the last day I equipped the Ursa, this time with the 5B plates and tried my luck with the Wahesh, the first was a small global the next eight gave quite poor loot, the final one killed me and I had to return to finish it, a profit was achieved. I now have 10 of these towards the 100 daily target, I will try again on my next visit. I met a young Lady by the name of Hexadine Hex Atreides and we talked about shortblades mostly which brought back some memories of my younger days. After I headed back to Next Island so as to be ready for the next Space Skilling Saturday.

15th – 16th – Various Papoo for the Simian Problem mission, Yellow Papoo were really easy, the Grey were harder but not too difficult, both of those are complete. I have started Brown and Red, the Brown seem to be partway between the Yellow and the Grey, the Red are significantly tougher. Ekimose Desnago Born invited me to the “Ancient Greece Naked Olympic Games #1” I wonder if they will call it AGNOG? It is tomorrow (Saturday) and starts at 1630 MA, I will go if I can, it looks like it will clash with SSS.

17th – I complete the Brown Papoo part of the Simian problem.

Later I compete in the first Next Island Olympics, this consisted of three events for the eleven contestants. The first event was a race to the TP at the top of Mount Olympus, The second was a treasure hunt for Cyclops eyes in the vicinity  of Thebes Market and the third was seeing who could survive the longest in the Temple at Olympus, the results from these determined who would enter two PVP battles at Warrior Peak on NI. These were between 3rd and 4th and 1st and 2nd places, using long swords provided by the organisers. The whole thing was very well organised by David Draxar Born and Ekimose Desnago Born too whom a big thank you goes out, it all went very smoothly, very impressive for a first event. I managed to scrape Bronze by the way.

Due to running around Naked in Ancient Greece I was almost late for Space Skilling Saturday which went smoothly.

After I continued with the Red Papoo Simian problem mission but failed to finish it.

18th – Back in Ancient Greece I visit the temple at Olympia and try my sword, well mostly my sword against the Guardians and the Avatars of Despair, I started with full armour and pistol but it was no contest, I felt sorry for my opponents and reverted to Archon’s sword and no armour, I did OK too. Next I completed the Red Papoo Simian problem mission, which finished the missions and I received the reward

19th – Foolishly I returned to the Temple at Olympia, this time armed only with sword and healing devices, I survived just fine but was not financially rewarded.

20th – I was about halfway through the 5k killpoint Yellow Papoo mission and decided I should finish this, needless to say it was not much of a challenge but required some concentration and a little over 14 PED of ammo, I am still using the Herman Cap-R with a ZX Sinkadus attached to do these missions.

21st – Time to make a start on the Brown Papoo 5k killpoint mission, I manage to get to 2727 points, I know I had some to begin with but I do not remember how many, I forgot to attach the amp this time, senile old sod!

24th – It’s Space Skilling Saturday, it comes around fast nowadays.

After I continue with the Brown Papoo but get tired part way through the hunt and decide to finish tomorrow.

25th – I complete the hunt I started yesterday, this brings me to 4700 points, I should be able to finish that fairly soon, next it will be Grey Papoo.

26th – Brown Papoo 5k completed, I realise I have not really started the 1k Grey Papoo mission as I have just 10 points so that’s what I complete and manage to get 10 points into the 5k.

29th – Grey Papoo reaching 1075 points, it seems 16PED of ammo gets me a little over 1k of points and brings the ZX Sinkadus to almost completely used.

30th – Grey Papoo to 2195 points.

Then a few warp transports during which I spent sometime on Calypso picking up various items previously purchased on Auction and sorting out my inventory. I also made a new Warp Drive and placed a few stacks on Auction to try to bolster the funds in my very poor looking PED card, this succeeded better than I expected. I picked up a few items I had stored that I feel would be useful for my noob hunting lifestyle.

I picked up an old Disciple of mine (Clyde Budski Baretta), to be clear he is not a geriatric but has been a disciple for a long time, and we headed back to Next Island where training was given, mostly involving the killing of Yellow Papoo but also use of a Sleipnir. It was a long session and for the last hour I was quite confused often talking into the wrong chat and wondering why (see the 21st).

31stMore Warp transports were completed and I returned to Next Island in readiness for this evening’s Space Skilling Saturday.

After its more Grey Papoo taking the killpoint total to 3288. I also gained a new Disciple one Calsword Cals Demonbane, he was directed towards me by Jaco Nihilist Patrolman to whom I am thankful.

I created a channel for use by myself and my disciples, I will add in past disciples when I see them on line.

A busy month, I am having more fun on Next Island than I expected too which is a real bonus. I think the noob hunting lifestyle agrees with me and am enjoying what little mentoring I have done.

Not sure if writing one of these a month is working too well, it is a lot to read and most of it is dull.

February 2018

Log entry for February 2018

On the 3rd after Space Skilling Saturday I took on the Kreltin for a mini hunt, nothing remarkable but there was a small profit. This was followed by the manufacturing of Welding Wire. More Welding Wire was manufactured on the 4th and 5th with some Rk-5s being made on the 5th as well.

Also on the 5th I tested myself against the Proteron Divine. I found if could get about one fifth of the way through it before being destroyed and by the time I got back it was so near to being completely healed there was little point in continuing. I did kill a few of the Cornundacaudas that also inhabit the area and managed a return of about 19%, I think that may be an all time low.

On the 10th another Kreltin mini hunt after Space Skilling Saturday this one providing a decent profit of 144%. This was followed by the manufacturing of RK-5s and RK-20s.

On the 11th TigeRPaw and I went to deal with the Proteron Divine, I was shooting and she healing, it took us a few attempts before we got this right and TigeRPaw very kindly lent me her “Ranked HK1750” and “Improved Omegaton A105” so that I could start shooting at a greater range than I could with my pistol, it did more damage per hit too but I’m not sure about per minute. The trick to doing this is not to kill the Cornundacaudas, they are faster than the Proteron and if you continually back away from the main target they will attack and get between you and the Proteron providing a buffer that keeps you out of its range. I managed a decent global and a return of 364%. I repaired TigeRPaw’s equipment before returning it and split the loot with her, I would not normally do that but then she would not normally lend her equipment. A great deal of trust was shown and it is much appreciated.

Latter on the 11th I went looking for an Outpost that no longer exists and had a go in the Crystal Cave, a small loss taken there. Later still TigeRPaw and I head into space, See Training TigeRPaw.

On the 15th I tried my luck in the Pit at Chug’s Hideout, using the Mission Galactica, Adjusted Restoration Chip, the chip made this much easier than it used to be. Next there was a solo warp to Arkadia where I found the Kamaldon Divine and let it hit to see how bad the damage was. After speaking with TigeRPaw I am provided with Way Points for all the Divine creatures. Then I spend a happy hour or so with my NIP hunting Halix.

The 16th. I test the Kamaldon Divine, solo. As this is just one TP 1 jump away from a revive I though it worth a shot, it did not work. I spend some time prowling the shops looking for what might help, I find 4 x Neurostim-C which give a decent health and regeneration boost. The after discussing with Wolta tactics we could use I purchase some Medical Tool Heal Enhancers levels III and IV, these allow me to fill all five slots in my EMT kit Ek-2900 and give it a heal capacity of 55 points 29 times a minute.

The EMT is given to Wolta who offers me here tier 7 Omegaton Igni L1100E to use instead of my tier 5 of the same weapon however she has no enhancers so I decline this most kind offer. We armour up and I equip an Aeglic and an Athenic ring, I find the Kamaldon Divine and provide a waypoint for Wolta, when we are both ready I take a Neurostim-C and begin. We managed to get it down to about a quarter of its full health before it gets me, I had just said “Easy :)” to Wolta when I am slain! I get back via TP ASAP and continue the attack, Wolta had also been slain by then but I was hoping she would arrive quickly, she did but not quick enough so we go again, this time she is waiting for me and we finish it off, a terrific loot of nearly 18PED in Shrapnel is the result, there is still a small profit!

Next Wolta and myself try the Oratan Miner camp nearby and then several others hoping they will re-spawn but they don’t. One of them was low enough level for me to do without armour quite easily. We also try a couple of Oratan camps, the first was far too hard and we both died several times just trying to take out one Oratan, the second was suitably easy after which I called it a day. It has been a little over two years since I have hunted with Wolta and it was good to do this again, just like old times. I need to be careful not to end up spending all my free time doing this again, judging by the rest of this log entry I fail.

The 17th to the 21st have small Oro hunts, I’ve been through the IFN Challenges and found the level 2 Oro is the one that should be easiest to finish. Some auction sales and the listing of some new items, I had bought some Arsonistic chips with me from Calypso, it is looking like I did not bring enough.

I have become quite concerned with how much weight I am carrying, when all I was doing was Space Skilling it made little difference, now I am hunting and still carrying about 30 RKs, I rationalised what I am carrying but it is still too much so I have purchased a “Lux Special Armor Luggage”, this was from Calypso auction and is waiting to be collected. For some fun I also purchased a “Sand Runner MK1 (C,L)” I intend to keep a different ground vehicle on each planet so I do not need to carry one with me. I soon find it’s turning circle is that of a small moon and that it often takes damage for no apparent reason, it is good fun though.

I offer to split the loot from the Kamaldon with Wolta but she declines.

The 22nd and 23rd, With the Oro mission complete I re-evaluate the IFN mission situation and complete the 1st Feran mission and finish the ammo off with some Halix I bumped into.

The 24th is Space Skilling Saturday after which I finish the level 1 IFN Gallard mission in the dark. For all these low level missions its the original Arkadia TT pistol a Herman Cap-R and no armour.

The 25th, I decide to become an Arkadian Citizen and pay the price in sweat after which I wander along the path I walked before, several years ago, almost no one would talk to me. I’m not quite sure how it happened but I managed to join the IFN and went through the running about missions (so glad I already had the TPs), I did the puny Oratan and the Arkadian Hornets, I am a private with the desert uniform which for some reason has one stripe.

I completed stage 1 of the Carabok mission and started doing the seven day Oratan Payback mission, not sure what that’s about but no doubt I will find out, probably in seven days.

The 26th, I purchase four of the new Herman CAP-TT (L) and test one of them in subsequent hunts, I have plans for them involving a disciple.

Day 2/7 of the Oratan Payback Mission, is easily accomplished. Halix to upgrade to the Blue jumpsuit (I do not currently have enough shrapnel to progress but it wont take long). Jori IFN mission 1, largely for something to do. The final chip on auction sells for the base price.

27th, more Jori, I got to 63/75. After that it was the Oratan Payback Mission day 3/7.

At this time I had enough Shrapnel to upgrade my colonists jumpsuit, I went as far as Gray before I did not have the materials to hand. After I had done it I realised it was 320PED TT value of stackables to get that far and I realised I had been a bit daft in doing it, that said there is only one more colour to get so I will probably be dafter still.

28th, Jori to finish level 1 then to 37/400 for level 2, Dromia to finish level 1, Oratan Payback mission 4/7 and a 1 PED, yes just 1 PED hunt of Halix, I did not want them to feel left out!

I think i am spending too much time doing this, I will cut back in March.

8 years since my arrival on Calypso

Log Entry for the 17th of August 2014.

Monday, judging from my notes this was a full day. It was the 8th anniversary of my arrival on Calypso. I normally end up with some kind of gift from the one outside of the screen but this year nothing, he says I have to wait a while.

The day began with a celebration hunt with Wolta we took on the Riptor who were clearly unaware of today’s significance and whilst bringing a global to the party were somewhat lacking in generosity.

I returned to the Oratan Miners with Feyn healing me, she had acquired a Gyro FAP smuggler of some type and was eager to try it out in spite of not quite having enough skill to be in the SIB range, she started off using a Herb Box and soon had enough skill, I tried different armour combinations in order to balance staying alive with keeping her busy, both of us had taken skill pills and did not want to waste them. The Oratan were generous with a few globals, odd considering how the humanoids of Entropia Universe hate us so much (I have worked out why that is). I paid Feyn’s decay plus a tip as I had done quite well scoring 4 globals in the hour and a positive return.

Gravis GLR-29 Rare item HoF

Happy Birthday to Cee

Later I returned to the Oratan and again did well, this time with 2 globals and a HoF, I was quite confused by the HoF, I got the fanfare, I got the HoF style swirlies but looking at global spam I noticed I had got 69 PEDs, whilst this is a lucky number I did not think they awarded a HoF for it (although that would be entertaining and a little weird). I checked the HoF board the lowest one was 500 and something so clearly I had got this wrong. I rechecked global spam and noticed a second entry, it seems I had found a rare item a Gravis GLR-29, I had not had one of these before, I guess it was a present from Arkadia, thanks chaps. The hunt returned another positive result, I could get used to this but something tells me I had better not.

I made a few purchases in some of the Arkadian shops as well as placing several auctions and having a few sales. I decided I needed to visit Calypso briefly so headed off in my Quad Wing, there was an item on auction there that I would like to trial and Pamela needed stuffing! I think that deserves an explanation, the shopkeeper at my residence on Calypso is called Pamela for 2 obvious reasons, having sold some items from her she was in need of re-stocking. Now I could have just said that I needed to re-stock my shopkeeper but that would have been dull. I will not explain this again in future posts.

The journey their was fairly uneventful, there was pirate at Arkadia who flew away so I took the opportunity to head toward Crystal Palace, En-route I spoke with Bonnie who pointed me at a clip of her destroying Normandie, now she stressed several times that this was not her fault so I can only assume that it was and that she is in denial. I do like the clip so am including it here:-

The music reminds me of GTA 4, I shall have to check as it’s been a while.

Approach to Calypso was uneventful though on arrival I could not find a TP, looks like they have been messing with Port Atlantis again. I placed my bid on the item I was after then found a TP and headed to Treasure Island Castle. After stuffing Pamela (5 times), I checked a few items in Calypso storage to see if they could be auctioned, the ones I was interested in were those that came with the Gold Starter Pack as I am very near to using all the skill pills and want more. Obviously if I purchase more I will have spare items to sell however it seems I cannot do this on auction so I will need to test if I can trade them.

I headed spaceward and arriving at the space station discovered that micjack was making a nuisance of himself along with one other of similar ilk. I just could not be bothered with it tonight, I know some of them will repair the damage but that’s just to make themselves feel better, the vehicle is still decayed. I left myself sitting in space while I did a few other things, checking in now and again to see if the coast was clear, it was not and twice my quad had been turned around so he was clearly trying to encourage some reaction. It was too late to continue so I logged.

My notes were right, Monday was a full day.

Tuesday, at login I waited to die and after revival spawned my Quad and left the Space Station. I had a quick look about and noticed no one so headed toward Crystal Palace, no one gave chase, I skirted Crystal Palace planet side and slightly z minus on an arc before heading for my selected Arkadia entry point. It was an uneventful journey although in Space Chat someone was somewhat miffed at micjack. There was an exchange of words at some point micjack said “you talk crap you can stay up here with me all night”, I was wondering if this was prison lingo?

I arrived at Arkadia, grabbed some ammo and headed to the Oratan Miners, arriving with about 58 minutes left before the servers were being shut down for patching. I took a skill pill anyway and began shooting, in less than an hour I had scored 6 globals, this has to be a record for me. There were warnings in global spam of so many minutes until the servers shut down, I just kept shooting squeezing every drop of skill out of the skill pill, with about 20 seconds to go I started on a fresh Miner in the hope that a little leeway might be given, that the chap performing the shut down was getting a cup of coffee but no luck, I was about halfway through when the connection dropped.

"I have no nose." "How do you smell?" "Awful."

Ma tête me fait mal

I reconnected in the evening and worked out the return it was another positive one. I tried the Oratan again but at Steadfast Firebase (my usual location) the Oratan Miners were not spawning, apparently this was the same in the PVP area. I did find a spawn that worked West of Implacable Firebase but it seemed my armour did not work, I think the graphic showed it as equipped but that it was not. This made the task a bit tricky so I gave up on it after just 2 rounds with a smallish loss. Donning the Viceroy armour no longer removes my hat, the back of my head and most of my nose become invisible as the helmet does not display at all.

I succumbed to the Skill Pills and bought me the bronze starter pack for $5, this had just 5 pills in it, I gotta have my fix. As the pills give a 50% bonus and last an hour it means I get 30 minutes of skill gain for 10PED which is a total bargain. I have not been able to TT or drop the other items but that could be due to a new bug.

Bonnie tells me there are a couple of bugs in space, it seems the repair movement is wrong and that the mobs no longer give chase, the first is no big deal but the second will make Space Skilling difficult, lets hope that gets resolved soon.

One other thing I noticed today, my average combat skill has risen to level 31, this probably happened sometime last week and I just did not notice but it’s nice to see it crawling along once in awhile.

Wednesday, I raised a support case about the armour and Oratan issues, just so it is logged.

I was impatient, I was only about 2k kill points from completing the Oratan Stage 5 (80k) mission so I dusted the ghost webs off of my ghost armour, fished the ghost spiders out of the ghost recesses, lubed the ghost joints with some ghost oil and donned the armour before heading off to Steadfast to see if the Miners wanted to come out and play, sensibly they did not. I headed over the hill, I’ve been over the hill for quite sometime now, well on the way down the other side to be honest but that did not deter me from trying my luck at the closest Oratan Camp. I did not partake of a skill pill, with the big delays between waves it would be a waste. The Slashers did want to play and so did the Lancer, the killpoints were going up but by the end of the camp I was about 900 short. I headed North to a second camp and these Slashers wanted to play too. When I killed the last Slasher I received notification that I had completed the Oratan Stage 5 mission. Obviously I finished off the Lancer before returning for my reward which was almost 7PED of Dodge, this gave me nearly 2 levels, not bad. I did take the Stage 6 mission which requires a further 60k of killpoints, so easier than the stage 5.  Completion of the stage 5 means the only investment of time I have left in Arkadia is the 1200 Riptor challenge at which I’m at about 750.

Thursday, as my Viceroy armour still did not work, there having been no further updates, I decided to work toward the completion of the 1200 Riptor challenge using my Pixie armour, this was slow going with more healing than I care for. It also resulted in a loss, I’m guessing it’s back to business as usual as far as that is concerned.

Friday, on login I was surprised to see Wolta on-line, we caught up on the week and I asked her about her Viceroy armour, she told me it was working fine. I tried mine again this time removing my hat first and it looked normal so I grabbed some ammo and headed out to take on some slightly larger Riptor, the armour worked fine and the hunt was much easier and speedier, I even considered taking a skill pill but was unsure of how long I could stay on line for. The results were a big improvement on yesterday but then it would be hard to do much worse.

Saturday, the Smugglers decided not to show in underground but the Oratan thought it was time to attack Repulse Firebase again, I spent quite a few hours here, there was a distinct lack of big Lancers which was a shame as they give good evade skills. I did not lose too much here considering the hours of entertainment involved. I did have a few crashes but no where near as many as in the past and I was running at max graphics mode so this was a big improvement. It seems the IFN are always calling for citizens to assist them but then completely fail to turn up themselves and leave the citizens to do their job. I find myself wondering why the Oratan want Repulse Firebase so badly. In the evening it was Space Skilling Saturday which provided a welcome change of pace, nice to slow down and relax after the mania of the Oratan.

Sunday, I returned to Repulse Firebase and once again stood in the thin green line, I did not do too bad and gained a few skills. I had a few more crashes today but they were not to much of a detraction. Once the Oratan had given up I went to the nearest Oratan camp and took on the slashers and the lancer there, which resulted in two globals after which I headed to the furthest Oratan camp, I do not do so well here. I missed the middle distance camp as I am not tough enough and spend most of my time healing. Because of all the Oratan deaths I had been responsible for today I have effectively made a start on the 60k Oratan IFN challenge.

Later I tried the Riptor and made the first profit since Tuesday, managed a couple of small globals and at the end I was at 1051/1200 for the Riptor IFN Challenge, so that challenge should come to an end soon. I had taken a skill pill for this hunt as I knew it would contain very few pauses so I would get the greatest advantage from the pill.

The overall result for the week was a return of just over 96% with which I am more than happy, looks like I will be giving Arkadia another chance. Looking at the length of this log entry I have had a busy week, it’s been a lot of fun.

Arkadian downs and ups

Log Entry for September the 22nd 2013

I spent quite a lot of time hunting Oratan Slashers, the results were rather bad and showed no sign of changing. On Wednesday, I stood at Celeste Quarry wondering what to do as I did not intend to hunt, boredom set in and the words “What the f***” wandered across my mind, I had seen some Teladon and Beladoth globals so I decided to hunt Huon.

It was not long until I hit a small HoF and less than 4 minutes later I hit another, that was followed by a global, Huon, good call! The following day I tried Teladon and managed 3 globals. The day after things returned to normal against the Riptor and the Tiarak but I did manage another Huon the day after that.

Wolta and I did a key 5 between us working toward the completion of a Magurg IFN challenge, the results were not brilliant but it was fun. Wolta and I also had a go at some Oratan miners and did OK.

There was much speculation about the upcoming update, people are concerned that off-line space travel will be removed and obviously the usual  introduction of bugs that are smoothed out over the following few weeks. The update is supposed to be rather large and a longer than usual outage has been scheduled for Tuesday the 24th.
