Don Crazyshadow Hunterz, outstanding behaviour

Log entry for 26th of July 2015

Monday, the week begins on Rocktropia and I’m serving the nation, the werewolves give me a slight positive as I reach 1215/10000, still got a way to go. Later I’m in the group who take down a Zombie Kong and a couple of King Kongs, the loot was dire and there was some discussion as to its distribution. On the last King Kong most of us got next to nothing but one Don Crazyshadow Hunterz managed to get a rather large ESI. He also thought the distribution off and gave 100 PED to each person in the group by way of correcting this error. Outstanding behaviour, I’m not sure there are many here who would do that.

I’ve noticed the SkullCandy gloves are ready to tier.

I did a little travelling and alighted on Next Island before heading to Ancient Greece to take on the Steropes Cyclops. I managed to kill a few by way of a test before logging.

Tuesday, I hit the Steropes in 3 separate hunts throughout the day, with each I improve as my methods are refined, I’m wearing the SkullCandy armour with 5B plates, this provides very little protection against one of their attack types so the improvements have noticeable effect. All 3 hunts gave percentage returns in the high 70s and low 80s.

Wednesday, More warping followed by more Steropes. 3 Steropes hunts the second of which provides a 564 PED Global and a smaller one, I also manage a small global during the 3rd. I finish the day at 284/333 Steropes Cyclops and calculate that 2 more hunts will see me completing the challenge.

Thursday, I was wrong, I completed the challenge + 1 more before the pills ran out (I should probably have mentioned I was using some pills to enhance my speed, heal and hit points). I changed into my chiton before visiting Penthesilea to claim the reward for completing the Bronze Age Challenge, I chose Athletics and Stamina which gave me a max health increase to 177 a stamina increase to 12 plus a couple of skill gains. After I noticed some red dots at the edge of the scope and on investigation took on and defeated the Avatar of Pan. In the other direction there was some Cyclops (Guardian of War) and a larger one in a building, I think it will need to be a team effort to take on those.

Friday, I returned to Rocktropia in readiness of tomorrow. It seems I have completely failed to make a log entry of this journey. Nothing happened so I guess I just forgot.

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday followed by some L1119 The Things, a few Zombie Kongs and a King Kong, a lot of fun and with quite a large group but the loot was very poor.

Sunday, I return to Serving the Nation but this time the Nation does not serve me. Wolta and I team and take on a few Dragons (I cannot remember which ones, Morrison maybe) and some Motorhead Security, we manage to global on both before Wolta suffers a disconnect that is not recoverable, I receive an e-mail explaining she is experiencing a router problem.

Quite a large loss this week of 1086 PED which provided an 80% return. The Steropes was a loss of just 288 with a 91% return. I shall be returning there myself, partly because the loot is not terrible and partly because I would like to kill 333 with my Bronze Age equipment (not an easy task), after a recent VU it became possible to use anything in Ancient Greece and with the SkullCandy and the Karma Killer I feel that I have cheated somehow.

Activity! Surely not!

Monday, I began the day completing a hunt I had stated the previous day, mostly I was slaying Werewolves, this went rather well with only a small loss. I made the mistake of joining in the pre-Kong Zombie waves (these are not like Mexican waves in any way, shape or form, there are no sombreros for starters), on waving goodbye to the last Zombie wave I set to with several others against the post-Zombie wave Kong. This did not go well at all with a return of a little over 50%.

Tuesday, I went to the Kong site to see what was going on, I was feeling quite tired and was unsure as to my evening’s activities, nothing was going on however I materialised next to Cissi TigeRPaw-C Red-cat, we have been saying hello to each other for a while now and as neither of us had much to do ended up having a rather interesting conversation and ended up on each other’s FL. TigeRPaw showed me where there was a Big Cat mission to be had, I took the mission and then we set about looking for big cats. TigeRPaw stayed near Daki Ridge whilst I headed South finding some smaller ones near Studio Street (I think, best check that when I next log in). After a while we both ended up at a Kong, the combined results were significantly better than last night’s Kong.

Wednesday, I completed the first Big Cat mission Catscepades #1 and then took on a few Zombies (you gotta kill a Zombie or two boys, you gotta kill a Zombie or two). Later it was more Zombies and a Kong, neither of these had good results. After the Kong TigeRPaw and I talked for a while.

Thursday, 4 days in a row, something is wrong. I returned to the Werewolves, I had accidentally left the A105 on the Karma Killer and failed to notice until I got a warning that the amp was close to expiring, no matter the result was rather good with only a small loss of PED.

Saturday, I had to take a day off after 4 days, that’s almost a working week. I did not do much today however just Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, after Space Skilling Saturday we had gone to Monria, I think this was just because it was closest but am not sure. Wolta and I went looking for some Arbitrator the Vermin but failed to find any. Instead we went through the Cultists cave and then on to kill of some Shubs. Not a bad return on this team hunt, 3 globals and 5 items, which are to be split evenly after selling. For me the most interesting loot was a Modec VXT 900 which I wanted to keep, with Wolta’s agreement I paid her half its value plus the weekly/monthly MU. A good fun hunt.

Weekly return was 77% with a loss of about 465 PED, maybe I need to play a little less.

Monday, I made some Welding Wire and uploaded 6 images to the Megaview screen, all of which were the wrong orientation (odd as one already there with this orientation works), I removed them and got a partial refund. I re-oriented the images and uploaded again at a slightly lower resolution. These images appeared correctly but when I made the advert sequence nothing worked. I decided to wait.

Saturday, Quite a few auctions sold and I purchased some more Welding Wire BPs, I was contacted by SEXY SPY MONA who offered to sell me some more Welding Wire BPs, however they were on Calypso (as was I) but she was on Arkadia, we decided to meet when we could.

I placed a few more auctions most of which (the pixie parts) sold.

I fixed the advert this is now running at my abode [37460, 52827, 114], I’m relatively pleased with it and find myself wondering if I could make some kind of storyboard movie.

Later it was Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, I purchased more Welding Wire BPs and made more Welding Wire. I paid a visit to the Drones at Jason Centre, they were not generous but the Karma Killer made it to tier 5.9, I purchased the necessary stuff to upgrade it to tier 6.

Hunting for the week returned a loss of 136 PED being 86.76%, not too bad but then there were only 2 hunts.

Sell, Sell.

Log entry for the 26th of April 2015.

Monday, more auctions sell and more are placed. I visit the Marcimex just to complete the Stage II Iron mission of 3000 points and after doing so take the Combat Reflexes 5.31 PED reward, it does not do much but I guess it all helps. I got to 531/12000 points in the Stage III mission before quitting with only a 40% return, I shall not return to these for a while.

Tuesday, auctions sell or expire (though not many of the latter), more auctions are placed.

Wednesday, I receive compensation to the amount of 120 PED for something that happened in a competition on Arkadia about Christmas time I think, it had to do with a key if I remember correctly. More auctions sell and more are placed. Wondering what to do I remember the Drones at Jason Centre. I decide to play a visit, the flora seems to have improved, I think the Drones may have taken up landscape gardening as a hobby, they must be spending their PED on something, I get a 71% return and readch 1231/60,000 points for the new mission using no amps or enhancers on the Karma Killer, I estimate it will take about 49 hours to complete the mission. Drone behaviour has changed since my last visit, they have returned to the strategy of running right to you blasting away all the time (like the old days) instead of keeping their distance as they had been doing, it is a shame, the distance gave better aiming when using sights.

Thursday, a couple of auctions sell and 1 expires, I buy a couple of Welding Wire BPs. I could probably place more auctions, I have plenty in storage still but it would be small stacks so I decide to leave it.

Friday, 6 auctions are sold 3 expire.

Saturday, a couple more sales and couple more Welding Wire BPs are acquired, I decide to try making some Welding Wire, the results seem quite poor as I am watching but after over 100 clicks I have lost only about 4 PED so not too bad.

I revisit the Drones for a 58% return, reaching 2385/60,000 and I get a chance to admire their garden.

The highlight of the week is Space Skilling Saturday, which scores a couple of Cosmic Horror globals and a return of 168% as well as being good fun.

Sunday, I sell just 1 auction and purchase a MegaView screen which I repair and fix to the front of my abode at Treasure Island Castle, I have prepared some images to be applied to it to advertise the services offered by the ship, probably a futile gesture but I get the opportunity to be a little creative.

All things considered not a bad week, I lost only 262 PED to the various beasts with a return of 86%, the SSS hunt came to the rescue there. I also managed to finish purchasing the crew uniform to be handed out at next SSS, it should be good for a laugh if nothing else.
