Drones, mostly

Log entry for the 1st of November 2015

Monday, I visit the Drones at Boreas for 2 small (100 PED) hunts, the first included a small global and was positive the second more negative than the first was positive. I did try attaching a Sinkadus to the Igni, this does work but not for long.
Wolta gets a Riptor HoF and also gets herself into the ATH list on Entropia Life for Riptor kills, that’s dedication or possibly persecution for you.
I was trying to clear out my storage a little and found a Neo Psion 20 Mindforce Implant lurking there, these do not seem to sell to well so I repaired it and used it to replace my Neo Psion 10 Mindforce Implant which I have used since I first tried Mindforce right back at the beginning. I checked my chips worked with it, now being the best time to find that out.

Friday, another small Drone hunt, this one was positive by the magnificent sum of 74 PEC, I’m just rolling in puppies. As I’m on the home world I decide to test myself and the Igni at Fight Club, victory here was significantly easier than previously and a decent global was achieved which made it very worth my while.

Saturday, another visit to the Drones and another small profit, this time reaching into PEDs, I visited them again later, this time for a loss although I was called away early. Later it was Space Skilling Saturday which was somewhat unusual.

Sunday, now back on Arkadia I decide to try the Teladon again, this went very wrong but never mind the skill gains were good.

Results for the week are -230 PED, 85% return.

Where’s Wolta?

Log entry for the 25th of October 2015

Monday, Arkadia, I begin the week with the Key 10 postponed from the previous day. Wolta, Nocturaline and Myself meet in the chamber and we go through the door together. This is the toughest key we have done but it gave us 4.5 hours to complete it so we were not concerned.

We ploughed our way through various creatures until at one point Wolta was killed, Nocturaline and I continue unconcerned expecting Wolta to rejoin us soon. After we cleared the chamber a message from Wolta appeared, she could not find us, I clicked on her in team and it became apparent from the highlight that she was below us. We moved into the the very high chamber that contains the statue and could see her running along a balcony below us. Informing her that we were on different levels and asking her to try to find a way back up Nocturaline and I continue to fight our way through the current level which was somewhat more difficult with just 2.

We descended to the next level and found Wolta was still below us, she was still running around an empty level unable to find a way up. Nocturaline and I continued and when we came to the statue chamber could again see Wolta, I took a few pot shots at her to attract her attention and we had a brief chat before continuing whist Wolta continued to try to find the way up. We fought our way though to the next level, I’m not sure if it was this one or the next that we finally joined up again, fortunately at the time Wolta was quite close to where we arrived so when the level was populated it was not to difficult for her to fight off the mobs, good job she was not in one of the densely populated chambers.

Together again we continued to the end, there were 10 chests to open, Wolta and Nocturaline took 3 each whilst I did 4. We got one rare item HoF with an “Arkadian Golden Key Codex Chamber”, I lost about 150 PED but the MU on the chamber is impressive so we should all cover our losses.

Later I began a Teladon hunt but got tired and logged about half way through.

Tuesday, I continued the Teladon hunt and managed 4 small globals in the space of about 20 minutes, I still lost but only 25 PED. Later I began a 2nd Teladon hunt and again bailed half way as my eyes refused to remain open.

Thursday, finishing the Teladon hunt with a loss of just 16 PED, I was quite pleased, no more globals but the Igni did reach tier 1.9 and is ready for an upgrade.

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday after which Nocturaline and I head to the surface of Calypso from Crystal Palace where I upgraded the Igni to tier II.

Sunday, I take part in defending Calypso from the robot invasion but got bored, instead I visit Boreas where I take on the Drones who are normally there, I actually make a small profit on the hunt which returned 112%. Later I offer some somewhat limited assistance to TigerPaw as she takes on the Legionnaires, this reverses the small profit made earlier.

Weekly result is -205 PED, a return of 91%, happy with that.

Spend, Spend

Log entry for the 3rd of May 2015.

Monday, I made some Welding Wire and uploaded 6 images to the Megaview screen, all of which were the wrong orientation (odd as one already there with this orientation works), I removed them and got a partial refund. I re-oriented the images and uploaded again at a slightly lower resolution. These images appeared correctly but when I made the advert sequence nothing worked. I decided to wait.

Saturday, Quite a few auctions sold and I purchased some more Welding Wire BPs, I was contacted by SEXY SPY MONA who offered to sell me some more Welding Wire BPs, however they were on Calypso (as was I) but she was on Arkadia, we decided to meet when we could.

I placed a few more auctions most of which (the pixie parts) sold.

I fixed the advert this is now running at my abode [37460, 52827, 114], I’m relatively pleased with it and find myself wondering if I could make some kind of storyboard movie.

Later it was Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, I purchased more Welding Wire BPs and made more Welding Wire. I paid a visit to the Drones at Jason Centre, they were not generous but the Karma Killer made it to tier 5.9, I purchased the necessary stuff to upgrade it to tier 6.

Hunting for the week returned a loss of 136 PED being 86.76%, not too bad but then there were only 2 hunts.

Sell, Sell.

Log entry for the 26th of April 2015.

Monday, more auctions sell and more are placed. I visit the Marcimex just to complete the Stage II Iron mission of 3000 points and after doing so take the Combat Reflexes 5.31 PED reward, it does not do much but I guess it all helps. I got to 531/12000 points in the Stage III mission before quitting with only a 40% return, I shall not return to these for a while.

Tuesday, auctions sell or expire (though not many of the latter), more auctions are placed.

Wednesday, I receive compensation to the amount of 120 PED for something that happened in a competition on Arkadia about Christmas time I think, it had to do with a key if I remember correctly. More auctions sell and more are placed. Wondering what to do I remember the Drones at Jason Centre. I decide to play a visit, the flora seems to have improved, I think the Drones may have taken up landscape gardening as a hobby, they must be spending their PED on something, I get a 71% return and readch 1231/60,000 points for the new mission using no amps or enhancers on the Karma Killer, I estimate it will take about 49 hours to complete the mission. Drone behaviour has changed since my last visit, they have returned to the strategy of running right to you blasting away all the time (like the old days) instead of keeping their distance as they had been doing, it is a shame, the distance gave better aiming when using sights.

Thursday, a couple of auctions sell and 1 expires, I buy a couple of Welding Wire BPs. I could probably place more auctions, I have plenty in storage still but it would be small stacks so I decide to leave it.

Friday, 6 auctions are sold 3 expire.

Saturday, a couple more sales and couple more Welding Wire BPs are acquired, I decide to try making some Welding Wire, the results seem quite poor as I am watching but after over 100 clicks I have lost only about 4 PED so not too bad.

I revisit the Drones for a 58% return, reaching 2385/60,000 and I get a chance to admire their garden.

The highlight of the week is Space Skilling Saturday, which scores a couple of Cosmic Horror globals and a return of 168% as well as being good fun.

Sunday, I sell just 1 auction and purchase a MegaView screen which I repair and fix to the front of my abode at Treasure Island Castle, I have prepared some images to be applied to it to advertise the services offered by the ship, probably a futile gesture but I get the opportunity to be a little creative.

All things considered not a bad week, I lost only 262 PED to the various beasts with a return of 86%, the SSS hunt came to the rescue there. I also managed to finish purchasing the crew uniform to be handed out at next SSS, it should be good for a laugh if nothing else.
