Drones, mostly

Log entry for the 1st of November 2015

Monday, I visit the Drones at Boreas for 2 small (100 PED) hunts, the first included a small global and was positive the second more negative than the first was positive. I did try attaching a Sinkadus to the Igni, this does work but not for long.
Wolta gets a Riptor HoF and also gets herself into the ATH list on Entropia Life for Riptor kills, that’s dedication or possibly persecution for you.
I was trying to clear out my storage a little and found a Neo Psion 20 Mindforce Implant lurking there, these do not seem to sell to well so I repaired it and used it to replace my Neo Psion 10 Mindforce Implant which I have used since I first tried Mindforce right back at the beginning. I checked my chips worked with it, now being the best time to find that out.

Friday, another small Drone hunt, this one was positive by the magnificent sum of 74 PEC, I’m just rolling in puppies. As I’m on the home world I decide to test myself and the Igni at Fight Club, victory here was significantly easier than previously and a decent global was achieved which made it very worth my while.

Saturday, another visit to the Drones and another small profit, this time reaching into PEDs, I visited them again later, this time for a loss although I was called away early. Later it was Space Skilling Saturday which was somewhat unusual.

Sunday, now back on Arkadia I decide to try the Teladon again, this went very wrong but never mind the skill gains were good.

Results for the week are -230 PED, 85% return.

Where’s Wolta?

Log entry for the 25th of October 2015

Monday, Arkadia, I begin the week with the Key 10 postponed from the previous day. Wolta, Nocturaline and Myself meet in the chamber and we go through the door together. This is the toughest key we have done but it gave us 4.5 hours to complete it so we were not concerned.

We ploughed our way through various creatures until at one point Wolta was killed, Nocturaline and I continue unconcerned expecting Wolta to rejoin us soon. After we cleared the chamber a message from Wolta appeared, she could not find us, I clicked on her in team and it became apparent from the highlight that she was below us. We moved into the the very high chamber that contains the statue and could see her running along a balcony below us. Informing her that we were on different levels and asking her to try to find a way back up Nocturaline and I continue to fight our way through the current level which was somewhat more difficult with just 2.

We descended to the next level and found Wolta was still below us, she was still running around an empty level unable to find a way up. Nocturaline and I continued and when we came to the statue chamber could again see Wolta, I took a few pot shots at her to attract her attention and we had a brief chat before continuing whist Wolta continued to try to find the way up. We fought our way though to the next level, I’m not sure if it was this one or the next that we finally joined up again, fortunately at the time Wolta was quite close to where we arrived so when the level was populated it was not to difficult for her to fight off the mobs, good job she was not in one of the densely populated chambers.

Together again we continued to the end, there were 10 chests to open, Wolta and Nocturaline took 3 each whilst I did 4. We got one rare item HoF with an “Arkadian Golden Key Codex Chamber”, I lost about 150 PED but the MU on the chamber is impressive so we should all cover our losses.

Later I began a Teladon hunt but got tired and logged about half way through.

Tuesday, I continued the Teladon hunt and managed 4 small globals in the space of about 20 minutes, I still lost but only 25 PED. Later I began a 2nd Teladon hunt and again bailed half way as my eyes refused to remain open.

Thursday, finishing the Teladon hunt with a loss of just 16 PED, I was quite pleased, no more globals but the Igni did reach tier 1.9 and is ready for an upgrade.

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday after which Nocturaline and I head to the surface of Calypso from Crystal Palace where I upgraded the Igni to tier II.

Sunday, I take part in defending Calypso from the robot invasion but got bored, instead I visit Boreas where I take on the Drones who are normally there, I actually make a small profit on the hunt which returned 112%. Later I offer some somewhat limited assistance to TigerPaw as she takes on the Legionnaires, this reverses the small profit made earlier.

Weekly result is -205 PED, a return of 91%, happy with that.

Very Sleepyhead

Log Entry for the 14th of September 2014.

Monday, the one behind the screen was not there, I waited but he did not come. I don’t understand the reasons, they do not apply within the Entropia Universe but from the impression I get the Entropia Universe is a more forgiving universe than the one on the other side of the screen. Still I am back on Calypso and I have not had the annual gift from him, hint, although I do get plenty of others.

Tuesday, he is back but only briefly, I talk with Wolta and Anna and loan a BP to Una who was in need of some basic screws, it was something to do with daily missions, something I think I need to look into. I am at Boreas fighting drones again but not for long and not using a skill pill, the one behind the screen was unsure if he could stay a full hour, he could not.

Wednesday, another short session at Boreas against the drones, still using yesterday’s ammo, some bids have gone in on some skills which is exciting. I talk with Wolta who has been having little luck recently too, we have decided to travel to Next Island this weekend and to have Space Skilling Saturday there.

Thursday, I’m still at Boreas and still using the ammo purchased on Tuesday, the one behind the screen is more with it but still cannot stay long. There were 2 or 3 short sessions today during which I finished the ammo from Tuesday and found it necessary to despatch a couple of drones with my sword.

Friday, more ammo, more drones, not much loot. I did check Twin Peaks to see if anyone was looking for a transport but they were not so I headed to Chugs to try my luck at fight club. I took a critical in round 3 or 4 and died, I was quite surprised. I returned to finish them off but the event timed out on me. That has never happened before, maybe it’s been changed. I received the annual gift, some skills off of auction,  it has managed an improvement in evade which is always good, combat rule 1 is don’t get hit. I tried Fight Club again a little later in the day and finished all waves without getting myself killed but that does not test the time-out on the event. After that it was back to Boreas for some more drones. Later both Wolta and Nocturaline were on-line and we planned tomorrow’s Space Skilling Saturday, it will be in Next Island Space and we will warp there.

Saturday, I returned to the drones where I managed my first global of the week, it was on a gen 1, I have been mostly killing gen 5-10 so go figure. I completed the Drone Stage IV (30k) mission and took the reward in handgun, this gave me level gains to 55 and 47 in Laser Pistoleer (Hit) and BLP Pistoleer (Hit) respectively. The gain in Laser was about 16% of the level. I went on to make some welding wire and looked on auction for some Repair Kit BP but found none.

I had a play with the Society Terminal, giving Wolta a much deserved promotion as well as changing our template to Explorers and altering the name a little. Somehow it seems more appropriate.

Later I put lots of stackables on auction before heading into the black for Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, I descended to the surface of Next Island where I hunted various mobs, including Sharks, Drakes, Guardians and Grey Pappo though these last put me to sleep. Later I went to Ancient Greece where I fell asleep a second time. Later still I found myself in the revive cave so put on the 5 parts of Hoplite armour that I posses and took on the Brontes Cyclops, using all of the Archon’s Sword and most of the Herb Box, I got nothing of real interest.

Level 54 Laser Pistoleer (Hit)

Monday, Wolta and I went a hunting Feffox, as is is always the case we had fun hunting together however on this occasion we had poor luck. Hopefully we will do better next week.

Tuesday, back to Boreas for me to hunt more drones, there are 3 Exterminators here now, there seems to be an extra one turning up each day, I have no chance against them so just avoid them while hunting. During this hunt I managed a small global and several good loots, more importantly I reached level 54 Laser Pistoleer (Hit) and am almost a whole 1% toward level 55. Very pleased. After I had finished I got the Marber Bravo-Type Plasma Annihilator out of storage and took a pot shot at the exterminator nearest the revive, I was going to try to turret it. I tagged it OK but was dead within a few paces, it did take it 2 shots but the 2nd one made a very through job of my demise. The hunt made a bit of a profit and clawed back some of yesterday’s loss.

After I purchased an RK-20 BP from auction, it had just 10 clicks on it and I used 9 of them to make 4 RK-20s, not a bad ratio, the last click will have to wait as I ran out of 1 of the ingredients necessary for construction.

Wednesday, another visit to the drones at Boreas, there are still 3 exterminators there, I think 1 of them is a new spawn, either that or the one I tried to remove yesterday has moved a long way. The drones were not so generous tonight but the skill gains still seemed good.

Thursday, once again I headed to Boreas to take on the drones, I did not do very well. The lag was bad and at one point a disconnect caused me to die and fail to claim the loot from a drone I had already killed. I think there were 4 exterminators there now, fortunately they are not very aggressive. I did manage a couple of skill gains, Level 41 Laser Sniper (Hit) and Level 46 Knifefighter (Dmg).

Afterwards I changed my percentage calculation formula, it is not possible to do this accurately as ammo is found in loots, so it’s not possible measure the amount used. I used to sell BP and weapon cells back to the TT, in future it will only be rounds of the type I’m using.

Saturday, in the morning I once again visited Boreas to take on the Drones, I think I can safely call this one a draw as I was up by 0.20 PED. There were no exterminators when I arrived but one did show up part way through the hunt. Kind of interested in what causes them to spawn. Later we had Space Skilling Saturday.

Sunday, I descended to Arkadia and promptly upgraded my Viceroy harness and thighs to tier 2.0 and 2.1 respectively, then purchased a few Defence Enhancer II to fill the slots on 4 parts of the set. I went to Underground to join in this weeks Smuggler event. This was interrupted by a call for a warp flight which Wolta and I answered. Upon our return to Arkadia Wolta and I hunted Oratan Miners and got a couple of Globals as Sleepyheads then I continued against the miners solo and got 2 more Globals.

Later I returned to underground with 1k of ammo and promptly lost nearly half of it, clearly this was a mistake on my part, I would have done much better to have left well alone and just taken the AUD profits, It was fun even though the Smugglers still do not autolock correctly.
