Sell, Sell.

Log entry for the 26th of April 2015.

Monday, more auctions sell and more are placed. I visit the Marcimex just to complete the Stage II Iron mission of 3000 points and after doing so take the Combat Reflexes 5.31 PED reward, it does not do much but I guess it all helps. I got to 531/12000 points in the Stage III mission before quitting with only a 40% return, I shall not return to these for a while.

Tuesday, auctions sell or expire (though not many of the latter), more auctions are placed.

Wednesday, I receive compensation to the amount of 120 PED for something that happened in a competition on Arkadia about Christmas time I think, it had to do with a key if I remember correctly. More auctions sell and more are placed. Wondering what to do I remember the Drones at Jason Centre. I decide to play a visit, the flora seems to have improved, I think the Drones may have taken up landscape gardening as a hobby, they must be spending their PED on something, I get a 71% return and readch 1231/60,000 points for the new mission using no amps or enhancers on the Karma Killer, I estimate it will take about 49 hours to complete the mission. Drone behaviour has changed since my last visit, they have returned to the strategy of running right to you blasting away all the time (like the old days) instead of keeping their distance as they had been doing, it is a shame, the distance gave better aiming when using sights.

Thursday, a couple of auctions sell and 1 expires, I buy a couple of Welding Wire BPs. I could probably place more auctions, I have plenty in storage still but it would be small stacks so I decide to leave it.

Friday, 6 auctions are sold 3 expire.

Saturday, a couple more sales and couple more Welding Wire BPs are acquired, I decide to try making some Welding Wire, the results seem quite poor as I am watching but after over 100 clicks I have lost only about 4 PED so not too bad.

I revisit the Drones for a 58% return, reaching 2385/60,000 and I get a chance to admire their garden.

The highlight of the week is Space Skilling Saturday, which scores a couple of Cosmic Horror globals and a return of 168% as well as being good fun.

Sunday, I sell just 1 auction and purchase a MegaView screen which I repair and fix to the front of my abode at Treasure Island Castle, I have prepared some images to be applied to it to advertise the services offered by the ship, probably a futile gesture but I get the opportunity to be a little creative.

All things considered not a bad week, I lost only 262 PED to the various beasts with a return of 86%, the SSS hunt came to the rescue there. I also managed to finish purchasing the crew uniform to be handed out at next SSS, it should be good for a laugh if nothing else.

Sell, Sell, Sell

Log entry for the 19th of April 2015.

Monday, I retrieved collected loot from Crystal Palace storage and Teleported to Chug’s Hideout where I added it to Calypso Storage and merged all stacks before beginning the painstaking process of Auctioning off and TT’ing as much as I could.

On this day and the following 6 I placed a total of 71 items/stacks onto auction 42 of which had sold by the time I got to Sunday night. The maximum of 30 auctions was a slight hindrance but made record keeping slightly easier.

As well as the auctions I began the pursuit of a modified FAP all I need to get this is a few FAPS and 75 Small Chadriak Mushrooms which are lootable from the Marcimex, 2 hours on Thursday and Friday and 1 hour on Sunday brought me to 2893/3000 for the Iron Challenge Marcimex Stage II, the conclusion that this was a very expensive pursuit (with the loss from each hunt getting worse) and the decision to abandon it as a focus once I had finished the Stage II mission. I had managed to gain just 1 mushroom (a rare item HoF) on the Thursday. Space Skilling Saturday occurred on Saturday evening as is usual and on Sunday I went in search of and found Weapon Enhancers for Skill, Accuracy and Damage tiers 1 through 5 (even got a 6 in skill, optimistic of me).

I managed to lose 845 PED this week with a total return of 73%. 817 PED of this was thrown to the Marcimex, as you can tell the loss for Space Skilling Saturday was minimal, it giving the best percentage return of the week.

A change of scenery

Log entry for the 11th of April 2015.

Monday, I’m still on Rocktropia and still Serving the Nation, A couple of Werewolf hunts each providing a return in the 80%s which is reasonable. I assisted one Miles Main Matheson in his attempt to gain a position in repair on a ship, Space Skilling Saturday went on a little late for him so I provided some contact details. I have not seen him on-line since. Mad Neo Force (a Soc. member) has decided to chip out and is selling all his possessions, its always a shame when this happens though I do understand it, I have considered it myself more than once. Though his play was spasmodic I shall still be sorry to see him go.

Tuesday, more Werewolves, they must be sick of me by now, I managed a 118% return this time which was a nice turn of events. I’m beginning to struggle a bit with a lack of PED, I have so much junk stored on Calypso and I really need to sell some of it so the current plan is to do that instead of taking the lazy option of depositing, it does mean I need to go there for a while though.

Friday, Werewolves, the final fling and another positive run giving me a 127% return and brings me to about 4840/5000 for the “History of Vampire Helena #4” mission, almost finished but I have told the crew and advertised on the site that this weeks SSS is at Calypso so I have to go. Lizzy kindly logs in quite late to transport an off line me and most of my Rocktropian loot to Crystal Palace.

Saturday, At Crystal Palace I TT some low MU loots already stored there and chance my arm, well my trigger finger, against the Kreltin, the return is a tad lower than I would like but I do get to 370/5000 of the Iron Challenge: Kreltin Stage IV. I also break the 60% barrier on my journey to a new level in Laser Pistoleer (Hit). Later its Space Skilling Saturday.

That was my week a change of scenery and a loss of only 81 PED with a 97% return, I would like more weeks like that.

Average Combat Level increase

Log entry for the 5th of April 2015.

Monday, I am running low on funds and am sorting loot out to sell, at the moment this is just to the TT but I have some set aside to sell to Hammer when a convenient moment should occur. I set to against the Werewolves and did not do very well but the Average Combat Level Increase mentioned in the title occurred either during this hunt or one late last week. Nice to see that go up it takes quite a lot of time as I am focusing on improving my higher skills.

Friday, I was wondering what to hunt, no I wasn’t, I was going to hunt Werewolves and did so twice, the first hunt yielded very poor results but the second managed to creep into profit with 1 global and some decent loots. This was my last Werewolf hunt of the week, the Vampire Chicks are not going to be pleased with my progress, hopefully they will punish me later. I reached 4231/5000 for “The History of Vampire Helena #4”, “every little helps” I say but with luck the Vampire Chicks will accept no excuses.

Saturday, Space Skilling Saturday occurred and returned a lack of loot but I did get 4 skill level gains. After I went to the Kong site where a Lvl 1119 The Thing had just spawned and I assisted the heroic Rocktropians in it’s demise before taking my share of the lack of loot.

It seems I have been lazy this week, lack of funds has been at least partly responsible for this, I intend to remedy this next week by returning to Calypso and trying to sort out my storage, selling what I can on auction and much of what I cannot to the TT. I am not yet sure of my departure date and expect to knock off a few more Werewolves before I leave, naturally I shall return, I just can’t get enough of those Vampire Chicks, if only some of them would come with me.

Returns for the week were neither good nor bad though I would like to see them improved, I lost about 350 PED with a return of 82.5%
